The Kingston University London/RANEPA MBA program is the path to a brilliant career at the Russian and international levels.

The Kingston MBA program combines a creative approach, new technologies and business. The competitive advantage of the Program is the synergy of the achievements of British business education and the best practices of Russian business. It is designed in such a way that the theory constantly motivates the listener for practical application in companies.
The program combines the best international English-language modules with the analysis of individual business cases. Their content represents an effective model of combining British academic modules with trainings, business simulations, group discussions on the most relevant and in-demand topics of the modern business environment.
A special value is the exchange of experience and analysis of the "live" cases of the Program participants, practice-oriented projects in which they can achieve personal success and lead the technological trends of digital transformation.

Kingston University Core Modules
This module introduces students to a systematic approach to identifying, understanding and analyzing macro- and micro-problems in a global context, the solution of which is essential for the successful management of organizations and people within them. The theory of the course contributes to the formation of systematic thinking and a deep look at the differences and similarities of countries in economic, institutional and cultural aspects, which are of considerable importance in the context of modern enterprise management.

This course is designed for personal and professional knowledge and self-development. The purpose of the module is to prepare students to comply with behavioral standards for their final Assessment (EPA). The module is based on the recommendations of a joint study conducted by the Privileged Association of Business Schools (ABS) and the Licensed Institute of Management (CMI).

The subject and the learning process will allow the student to first understand and experiment with how big data is collected and stored, and then study the methods of statistical research, machine learning, mathematical modeling and data visualization that are used in analysis. During the training, the student will be able to identify problems arising from the interaction between IT capabilities, business requirements, as well as restrictions imposed on decision-making in organizations based on certain data. A valuable aspect of the module is that the student will be able to collect data and transform it into strategic assets, and will gain the necessary skills to be able to influence strategy and decision-making in the organization.

This module presents the concept of marketing at both the strategic and tactical level. He explains the basic principles and methods of marketing in the context of organizations, business management practices and a changing business environment. The course covers strategies for influencing client behavior throughout the project lifecycle. Students will be able to develop skills in segmentation and targeted use of market opportunities, as well as develop positioning strategies. The concept of the presentation "Bright Ideas", which is part of the module, forms competencies related to the analysis of the business environment, STP, MARCOMS, etc., and gives an opportunity to look at a real project through the prism of marketing.

This module helps to demonstrate a critical understanding of modern financial models and theories and their application in the context of an enterprise. The listener will critically evaluate and analyze the financial position and performance of organizations based on their financial statements and stock market indicators or key performance indicators. In addition, the student will study the latest theoretical materials and empirical data on financial management and apply them in practice.

The module introduces students to innovative strategies in the field of operational management in the private and public sectors (both in the service sector and in production). The module explores operational strategies, process and capacity issues, supply chain management, and opportunities for qualitative improvement of ongoing operations. The listener will be able to: conceptualize (model) real-world problems using the analytical foundations of operational management; identify key aspects of theories, critically analyze and evaluate concepts and practices of operational strategy in various contexts; solve operational problems of various business environments; combine data from various sources to improve operational performance, and make recommendations on operational functions and strategies (both in a national and international context).

The module is focused on acquiring the skills necessary for planning, developing and launching entrepreneurial innovative enterprises. The purpose of this module is to train an entrepreneur-manager to use all the existing opportunities of the modern business environment by creating a new venture enterprise or using innovative developments at an existing enterprise.

This course introduces students to the role of corporations in society, issues of accountability in the context of sustainable development and social responsibility. The module provides a critical understanding of the concepts of business ethics, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and stakeholder relationship management. The course also allows students to analyze, evaluate and formulate business decisions in the light of ethical and social considerations. This knowledge will allow students to manage organizations and their activities, taking into account the need to apply CSR practices in various business issues. The emphasis on sustainable, responsible and ethical business practices attracts many young leaders who share a modern business vision.

The module examines how an organization can develop effective solutions to ensure its viability and success. The course helps students to learn how to transform strategies into actions and solve problems that arise during their implementation. This module introduces students to the peculiarities of the consulting industry, the main practical areas and the activities of management consultants. The course examines the relevant tools of business research and analysis, as well as the processes of finding and providing consulting services. The discipline demonstrates to students the appropriate performance indicators at various enterprises and pays special attention to the peculiarities of professional and ethical practice of consulting.

I graduated from the program in 2003, but even now very often I not only remember the years of study with pleasure, but also periodically look into my notes in order to refresh a particular concept.
I am engaged in highway-ring motorcycle racing, and one of the basic rules of cornering is as follows: even before entering a turn, you need to direct your gaze in the direction of exiting it. But at the same time, with peripheral vision to see everything that is happening around. It seems to me that this rule is very important in relation to business, and this is what we were taught in the program – strategic vision, leadership qualities, focus on success, while giving knowledge in all areas of business.
I am very grateful to the entire team of the program, and I envy a little those who still have to go through this difficult path – the path of the MBA.

After two years, each of us has changed dramatically. And the main acquisition is the knowledge of oneself, one's goals and the development of tools that help to implement any tasks set. In 2018, Kingston University (London) and the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration opened enrollment for a special MBA program, where the first finalists and winners of the Leaders of Russia competition were invited. Of course, outstanding success was expected from this graduation, but even the wildest expectations faded before the result – 27 group members (75%) graduated from the program with the highest academic result of Distinction, setting an absolute record of academic performance for all the years of the program's existence!
It's not surprising, you say, since the group is entirely made up of Russian Leaders who, even during the competition, many times proved a high level of erudition, excellent memory, the ability to learn and produce maximum results, individually or in a group. You are only partly right, because there were only 10 finalists and winners of the LR in the final composition of the group. And it was still a group of real leaders. Leaders are not only those who successfully took part in the competition on time. These are, first of all, people whose work creates the necessary changes in our country, whose example inspires others.
Our group was a reflection of all the best that exists in Russia: geography from St. Petersburg to Sakhalin, industry affiliation from IT to the oil industry, experience from managing the richest regions to launching their own startups and small businesses. And at the same time – surprisingly no show-offs, openness, sociability, constant willingness to joke, try new things, change and help others change. Ministers, managers of state monopolies, entrepreneurs, doctors and scientists – yes, we studied well, but it is much more important that we were great friends – and I am sure that we will continue to be friends. Red diplomas are familiar to us, but smart and creative friends are always a rarity.
Thank you, Kingston and RANEPA, Margarita and Mitali, our teachers and guests – it's been a wonderful two years. They didn't just improve us – they changed us, opened up new levels and paths in life. And now, having changed positions, industries and cities, we look at each other again and understand how much important and wonderful has happened during this time. And we ourselves, together with the universities, were the creators of these miracles. After all, we are leaders, with or without a diploma of the competition – leaders not by certificate, but by life.
