Vaccination of "Cyberimmunity" from Kaspersky

Digital transformation of business is gaining momentum and is today one of the top topics in teaching advanced business schools. That is why for the third year in a row we are opening a course on the international program of the EMBA Kingston/RANEPA with the theme "Big Data and Business Analytics". Big Data, along with AI, UX, Data Science, cybersecurity, consistently lead the world rankings of the most sought-after competencies of the leaders of the future.

It is quite natural that during the October module of the EMBA program, we were visited by guests from kaspersky. General Director of the NGO "Adaptive Industrial Technologies" (Aprotech) Andrey Suvorov and his colleagues conducted a master class on the topic "Cybersecurity for managers" for the listeners of the program. Such "first-hand" master classes, demonstrating the local context, complementing the classic British modules, are a good tradition and the hallmark of our international programs.

In addition to an interactive lecture with vivid cases, useful "chips", a lot of new information, kaspersky pleased us with a gamified business simulation about the basics of cybersecurity. EMBA students had the opportunity to use real cases to assess their level of literacy in the field of information security as heads of departments and companies in terms of working with PCs and mobile devices, account management, email, working with third-party websites, social networks and messengers. Many thanks to the entire kaspersky team for such useful and relevant content, we look forward to continuing cooperation in the form of a whole course on information security!

Reviews of students of EMBA Kingston/RANEPA:

Andrey Suprunov,
Managing Director of LLC "VNIIBT-Drilling Tool", Perm
"The seminar on cybersecurity clearly showed the underestimation of this risk in the context of the activities of enterprises and business in general. Projecting it onto your activities, it is safe to say that you need to think about this risk in advance and take proactive actions to eliminate it. Andrey Suvorov gave a number of examples of companies facing cyberterrorism. I especially remember the example of Maersk in 2017, when the company's activities were paralyzed for 10 days due to the NotPetya virus. At the same time, the damage ranged from $200 to 300 million. It is quite obvious that, given the development of the digital industry, cybersecurity should be an important priority on the business protection agenda of business leaders."

Serik Kaliev,
Head of Maintenance of Production Operations, Tengizchevroil LLP, Kazakhstan
"At the present time of the widespread introduction of automation into business processes, it was very important to hear a representative of one of the world's leading cybersecurity companies - kaspersky - in the person of Andrey Suvorov with an interesting lecture on modern cyber defense technologies. I really remember the online simulation to determine the level of advancement of business leaders in this topic and other kaspersky chips! Many thanks to EMBA Kingston/RANEPA for organizing such cool sessions."
